Check Your Antiperspirant/Deodorant Label !

Perspiring is an important bodily function.  Many people find that it is annoying and try their best to keep their body from sweating.  This is NOT what you want to do.  Sweating removes toxins from your body and helps the body to cool.  You WANT to sweat.  Choosing a deodorant instead of an antiperspirant would be a healthier choice.

The type of deodorant you use is very important to your overall health and wellness.  If your deodorant has aluminum as an ingredient, you should look for another option.  Aluminum is a metal that can be harmful to your body.  Here are some of the other ingredients that you should avoid: Parabens, Triclosan, Propylene Glycol, and artificial colors.  Read the label before you buy.  You can look up ingredient safety in the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) Skin Deep Database.

Look for a deodorant that has few ingredients, words that you recognize and no preservatives or chemical additives.  What you put on your skin is important.  Your skin is your largest organ and it absorbs whatever you put on it.  We have so many toxins in our world today and using a deodorant without harmful chemicals is one way you can cut down on the toxins that enter your body.

I offer a great alternative to store bought deodorants in my shop.  Here is the link:

There are very few ingredients (coconut oil, shea butter, aluminum free baking soda, arrowroot powder and essential oils) in my deodorant and it works!  I can customize it if you have a special scent that you like to use.  I hope this information helps you make healthier choices for your body.

May God Bless You!
