Did you know that God gave us everything we need for good health right here on His green earth? Who knew that celery juice had so many benefits?
I have been having digestive issues for quite a while and I would like to get them under control without taking a pill. My Superfood Smoothie (try it here:http://https//www.teambeachbody.com?shop?-?shopping?MDSUSH311G?referringRepId=463453) has helped a lot but my Holistic Doctor said this would help my stomach rebuild the good bacteria that I have killed off by taking antibiotics over the years.  I realize that the health of the body begins with what you put in your mouth and continues along that path including the stomach, intestines and bowels.
Celery juice contains powerful nutrients that help the body reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, improve the condition of the skin, detox the kidney, enhance sleep, lower stress, prevent ulcers, balance hormones and even fight cancer cells. Celery contains vitamin K, C, B, magnesium and salts that help the body balance and work properly. It has anti-inflammatory properties that make it beneficial for those who suffer from Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Vertigo, IBS, Arthritis, Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne, Lupus GERD Restless Leg and Gout.
Look for organic dark stalks and soak it in vinegar if you can not find the organic type.
I am using my Jack LaLane Juicer and adding 6 large organic celery hearts to get the 8 ounces that the doctor recommended. I add 1/2 of an apple or pear somedays to give the juice a little sweetness. Some celery is more bitter than others so you may like the juice with the added fruit.
It is important to have your juice on an empty stomach and to drink it within a few minutes of juicing it.  It will lose nutrients as it is exposed to oxygen.

I would love to hear from you.  Leave your comments or questions below.  If there is a subject that you would like for me to research, just let me know.

Cheers!

Suzie
